Mobile UC Observations RIM Acquires TAT

RIM is hard charging in its quest to grow its consumer-oriented business in devices, enterprise software and monthly fee for email and messenger. Some of the company's recent announcements include:
- Availability of the BlackBerry PlayBook
- Availability of the SDK for the PlayBook
- Opening of the app store for PlayBook
and now its recent acquisition of The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) of Sweden to join RIM and obviously work on their new UI initiatives. The CTO's blog post doesn't mention the price, terms or timing of the transaction. Here's a cool clip of the TAT vision of the future of screen technologies and interworking.
